Immigration Problems in Other Countries

    Italy's immigration did not start as early as other country's. 7% of Italy's population are immigrants. In France there were riots because many children of North Africa immigrants are unemployed and unhappy. In Turkish, Germany,  workers both legal and illegal are desparate to find jobs and homes. Canada is first in immigration to the U.S. Norway in '07 there was 415,300 people with an immigrate back ground. The UK has a rise of 46,000 immigrants in the year of '06. Spain has absorbed more than 3 million immigrants. Europe have about 100,000 immigrants living there illegally. 4% of Portugal are immigrants in the early 1900's. Japan relaxed its realtively tight immigration lows. Australia has grown substantially during the last decade. Overseas migration increased around the U.S 30,000 in 1993 to 118,000 in '03-'04. 23% of the population of New Zealand was born overeseas mainly in Asia, Oceania, United Kingdom.     


 
  More than 15,000 immigrants moved to Italy from January to July of 2009.
  
In September of 2009 security forces raided and destroyed a major make shift refuge camp called "The Jungle", which has been set up for illegal immigrants in Northern France. Which was illegial(Crumley). Italy's prison is full and most of the prisoner are Africans from north Africa. Some 20,000 people out of 55,000 prisoners was currently released (Newell).
